Michael O'Shea - Michael O'Shea (WMO Cargo)

Supposedly a journey through Mr O'Sheas' life and times, this should bring images to your head of Ireland, but all I can imagine are Hari Krishnas and lamas. Why such an Irish record sounds so oriental is confusing. Master of the hammered-dulcimer that he was, Michael O'Shea let his music speak for him, which is probably for the best seeing as the one track he does open his mouth on proves the poor guy hadn't a note in his head.

This doesn't stop the music from being emotional and soothing. Try to get the lamas out of your head and picture calm blue oceans and I'm sure it'll start to make a lot more sense.
