Tora! Tora! Torrance! - Get into it (The Militia Group)
Sonically this falls alongside the likes of At The Drive-In, Crackout and ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. It's a furious concoction of distorted guitars, none too rare moments of insanity, and yelping vocals. Sick of the current wave of garage rock bands at the moment? T! T! T! could possibly be the antidote you're looking for.
Forget about The Vines or The Datsuns, this is the band to get drunk to. "Get into it" comes full of hooks and riffs, the kind that kick you in the stomach while climbing inside your head. It takes a few listens to really appreciate the depths it's dredging, but once you do "get into it" songs like 'Killer cut the phone line', 'Wear a ski mask if you wish to be avoided' and 'The sweet, sweet' will soon seem like your new best psychotic friends. As subtle as a brick across the side of the face; fantastic stuff.
