April 7^th - Always entertaining The Residents brought their wagon of 'weirdass fun' to Irving Plaza (17 Irving Plc.) this night....

April 9^th - B. B. King, Bobby 'Blue' Bland & Millie Jackson @ the Apollo (253 W125th St.), No you haven't gone back in time! - They just don't make 'em like they used to...

April 9^th - Joan Jett made a brief appearance @ 'Barracuda' (275 W.22rd St.). Barracuda regularly features drag artists miming to the usual Barbara Streisand, Madonna, Cher & er, ... sometimes Joan Jett!?

April 9^th - The 'Fab' Fountains of Wayne popped the Bowery Ballroom (6 Delancy St.) this Friday night - look out for their new album - 'Utopia Parkway'(If you like the Zombies, Beatles etc...)

April 9^th - The New York Dolls, Buster Poindexter & Now - David Johanson & the Harry Smiths! 'Just like puss n' boots - WE hope HE don't get stopped for tryin'!- @ The Bottom Line(15 W.4th St.)

April 10^th - Well you missed it! - Anal Love Feed @ 'Don Hills (511 Greenwich St.) 'fascinating' name(!?) but as the saying goes - 'It Ain't All That'......

April 10^th - Not that it needs to be repeated, the BEST-EST, FUN-EST club in NYC - GLAM2000 with your darling hosts Nikki Kane & Georgie Seville (every Saturday @Coney Island High, 15 St. Marks Plc.)

April 10^th - Our boyee Funkmeister Bernie Worrel & the Woo Warriors @ 'Wetlands'(161 Hudson St.) - puttin' the 'P' back in P-Funk!

April 11/12/… - Following a successful marathon series of small venue shows on the West Coast, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers continue the theme in NYC @ 'Irving Plaza' (- Expect more shows to be added.....& sold out!)

April 12^th - Arlene's Grocery (95 Stanton St) present a Punk Rock Karaoke - could this be the beginning of the latest craze! Backstage on the recent 'Warped' tour that crossed the US a similar Karaoke tent gave more entertainment than most of the acts on the main stage - we are told!?

• April 23^rd - Tommy Stinson (Replacements, Perfect & now - Gun's & Roses!) performs one of his frequent solo 'acoustic' shows @ Coney Island High (15 St. Marks Plc.) before Tommy check out Mark Soloman (also of the band Perfect)'s other band Clumsy.
• April 29/30^th - Madness are back! showing the new kids how a white boy should play ska! @ Irving Plaza....
• April 30^th - Sleater-Kinney play their rescheduled NYC shows (-finally!)@ Irving Plaza....
• May 2^nd - Dick Dale 'surfs'(ouch!) into 'Wetlands'(161 Hudson St.).
• May 5/6^th - Luka Bloom shows NYC how it's done with 2 shows(!) @ The Bowery Ballroom(6 Delancy St.).....
• May 15^th - They Might Be Giants might be playing @ The Bowerey Ballroom(6 Delancy St.) this night....then again.....
• May 15^th - The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black - more talent than any Marilyn Manson-type wannabes from the originators of the species....
